Ceramics: Beginner and Intermediate
Learn how to create wheel thrown ceramics in this 7-week course designed for both beginner and intermediate clay artists. The basics of handling clay are introduced with a hand building project to allow students to explore this new material. Quickly moving to the wheel, we will be creating cylinder and bowl forms and potentially adding attachments, such as handles for mugs. Glazing and firing is included in the course, which will transform your pots into functional art. Intermediate students will be given more options for learning upper level techniques.
