Steampunk Metal Pendant Workshop
Students will use a variety of tools and supplies to create one unique steampunk styled pendant. Students have use of 100’s of stamps, brass, copper and multiple other mixed media components. Once students have settled on a design all the layers will be riveted together with help from the instructor.
Copper Etched Pendants
Learn the basics of etching on copper with ferric chloride. You can draw your own design or use rubber stamps to create unique pieces. We will learn how to clean your metal, use resists, etch safely and finish your pieces. Etching offers endless design possibilities. Students will create up to 3 pieces. No experience required. Metal for 3 pieces supplied. Ferric chloride is a chemical that when used safely provides user with wonderful results. All safety precautions will be adhered to. Students are required to bring safety glasses and at least two pair of rubber, latex, or non latex gloves. Aprons advised.
Introduction to Torch Fired Enameling
Fabulous fun with fire! Craft unique colorful mini works of art with pre-cut metal shapes, glass and fire. No experience necessary. Students leave with 3 or 4 one-of-a-kind pendants!
Copper Riveted Cocktail Ring Workshop
Create a unique handcrafted ring for yourself or someone special. Start with a strip of copper, choose a texture or stamp the band. Choose from over 100 stamps! Layer copper, brass or aluminum pre-cut shapes and a rivet and end up with your own masterpiece. Makes a phenomenal custom gift!
Super Simple Wire Wrapped Earrings with Dangle
Students will create two pair of super simple elegant wire wrapped earring with beads and dangles. Lots of glass colored beads to mix and match to make your own unique statement.
