Tour of Printmaking

Let this class take you on an exploration through a variety of printmaking processes! Students will make a set of their own prints and learn the history and process of four unique methods of printmaking: Relief, Lithography, Intaglio, and Monotype. All supplies are provided. Paper Marbling Workshop

Explore the popular art of paper marbling! All supplies are provided and everything is prepared and set up for the students. Come and explore this super creative paper decorating technique, and go home with a collection of art papers that can be used in a variety of arts and crafts projects, including card making, collage, and book binding. Marbling will be taught in the Florentine and Turkish styles using acrylic paint that floats on carageenan thickened waters. Professional level materials will be used. Instructor: Karine Bauch

Holiday Linocut Card Workshop

Make holiday cards for friends and family extra special this year with a handmade touch! In this workshop, students will learn the basics of multi-color linocut printmaking to create colorful cards of their own design. No prior experience in printmaking is necessary. All materials are included in the class to make 6 cards with envelopes; however, students are encouraged to bring colorful papers to supplement their project. Instructor: Kim Fredericks
