Ripple Effect Teen Scholarship Program

Additional assistants are needed to help in the teaching of the Ripple Effect classes. Volunteer credit hours can be used for school or honor society requirements. If the scholarships have been all designated, students can still apply and participate. They will be given priority for scholarships during the following school year, if participating.


Please apply for this opportunity by September 6th to be included in the program.

The Ripple Effect Teen Intern Program provides an opportunity for high school students who is interested in an arts or education to gain experience in these fields. Those who complete the program earn a scholarship for $250.00. Four scholarships will be awarded during the 2017-2018 school year.


Must be a Batavia High School Student who is interested in art, children, and service.


Available to help teach art classes during one or more of the following times throughout the school year (24 weeks from mid-Sept through April)

  • HC Storm (Tuesdays from 3:15 - 5:00 pm) 
  • Hoover-Wood (Tuesdays from 3:15 - 5:00 pm) 
  • JB Nelson (Wednesdays from 3:15 - 5:00 pm) 
  • Alice Gustafson (Wednesdays from 3:15 - 5:00 pm) 
  • Water Street Studios (Thursdays from 4:45 - 6:15 pm)
